CORONAVIRUS DISEASE (COVID-19)
Coronaviruses are the
group of viruses that cause diseases ini mammals dan birds. In humans,
coronaviruses cause respiratory tract infections that are typhically mild, such
as some cases of the common cold (among other possible causes, predominatly
rhiniviruses), though rarer froms such as SARS, MERS and COVID-19 can be
lethal. Symptoms vary in other species: in chickens, thet cause an upper
respiratory tract disease, while in cows and pigs they cause diarrhea. There are
yet to be accines or antiviral drugs to prevent or treat human coronavius
infection.
Coronavirus outbreak is
an ongoing global outbreak of coronaviruses disease 2019 that has been declared
a Public Health Emergency of International Concern. T is caused by the
SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, first indentified in Wuhan, Hubei, China. As of 9 march
2020, more than 110,000 cases have been confirmed, of which 5,800 were
classified as serious. Over 100 countries and territories have been affected,
with major outbreaks in central China, South Korea, Italy, Iran, France and
Germany. More than 3,800 people have died, around 3,100 in mainland China and
around 675 in all other countries. More than 60,000 people have recovered.
The
virus primarily spreads between people in a similiar way to influenza, via
respiratory droplets from coughing or sneezing. The time between exposure and
symptom onset is typhically five days, but may range from two to fourteen days.
Symptom are most often fever, cough and shortness of breath.
On
2 March 2020 the Covid-19 outbreak was confrimed to have spread to Indonesia.
President Joko Widodo confirmed the first two cases of Covid-19 in the country
in a televised statment. According to the minister of health Terawan Agus
Putranto, the patiens contracted the virus from an infected Japanese person in
Depok who later tested positive in Malaysia. Both Indonesian patiens were
subsequently in North Jakarta.
After
two Indonesian have tested posistive for the new coronavirus after being in
contact with an infected Japanese, Indonesia GDP may be hit by as much as -0,5%
in 2020 however during the recovery GDP may pick up by 0,7%. Transmission of
the outbreak to Indonesia will exports, FDI and tourism. We argue that China’s recovery
will be stronger. We acklnowledge that the recovery timeline will be debatale.

My
opinion about the Covid-19 in Indonesia is too far made up by soaring some
items that are said to be able prevent or avoid this virus, such as soaring
mask price in the market and, also anti-septic which also merges high in the
marjet and cause difficulties in finding goods these items, even though the
goverment has anticipated that the masks and ati-septic products sold ih the market
have clever stock but many people are direcly buying these items with a large
amount.
